How Do I Clear Fault Codes on My Scanner?
To clear fault codes:
- Connect to your vehicle and run a scan
- Review and note the diagnostic trouble codes
- Fix the underlying issue
- Select Clear Code in the scanner menu
Important: Codes will only stay cleared if the root cause has been resolved. If the problem persists, the codes will return.
