What Is A/C Relearn and Does the YOUCANIC Scanner Support It?

A/C Relearn (Air Conditioning Relearn) recalibrates the HVAC control module after certain repairs. Without recalibration, you may experience incorrect temperature output, airflow routing to the wrong vents, or inconsistent climate control behavior.

When You Need A/C Relearn

• After replacing a blend door actuator
• After replacing the HVAC control module
• After battery disconnection on some vehicles
• After any HVAC component servicing that affects actuator positions

What the Scanner Does

The scanner commands the HVAC module to cycle all actuators through their full range of motion, relearning each position. This restores proper airflow direction, temperature mixing, and vent control.

Is My Vehicle Supported?

The UCAN-II-C supports A/C Relearn on many vehicles where the HVAC module allows calibration. Coverage varies by manufacturer and model year.
