TCM Oil Reset clears the transmission fluid life counter stored in the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Many modern vehicles monitor transmission fluid condition and display service reminders.

When You Need It

  • After performing a transmission fluid change
  • After a transmission flush
  • When the transmission service reminder appears on the dashboard

How to Perform It

  1. Connect the scanner
  2. Navigate to Maintenance → TCM Oil Reset or Transmission Fluid Reset
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts
