Procedure

Open the hood of the car to access the washer fluid reservoir.

Find the Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir. The windshield washer fluid reservoir on ACURA vehicles can be found in the passenger compartment of the engine bay. In Acuras with rear wipers, the reservoir also feeds the rear wiper.

Here you can see the location of the windshield washer reservoir on Acura TL vehicles indicated with the blue cap or a black cap with a wiper symbol on top.

Open the reservoir cap by lifting it. Add washer fluid until the level gets about two inches below the reservoir cap.

If your Acura is low on windshield washer fluid level, you will get a warning message on the instrument cluster stating “Low Windshield Washer Fluid Level.”

The most common sign that you are low on windshield washer fluid is that no liquid sprays on the windshield when you press the switch/lever. This is because there is No Windshield Washer Fluid in the reservoir. A Low Washer Fluid Warning will appear on the Multi-information display.
