2010-2018 Mazda 5 Change Front Turn Signal Light Bulb
Learn how to change the front turn signal on a Mazda 5 from 2010 through 2018. The instructions are the same for driver’s and passenger’s side turn signal light bulbs. The turn signal may also be referred to as the blinker.
What you will need
- 1157NA Turn Signal Bulb
- The light bulb type on Mazda 5 is a 1157NA bulb.
- 27watt/8 watt.
Procedure
Park the Mazda 5 on level ground. Turn off the engine, move the shifter to Park and get ready to change the front turn signal light bulb on your Mazda 5.
- Open the hood by pulling the hood release under the dashboard.
- Determine the location of the bulb that has burned out.
Access the back of the Mazda 5 headlight. In some cases, it may be easier to remove the headlight, but for Mazda 5, it is not necessary.
- Replace the light bulb.
- Reinstall the turn signal socket into the headlight assembly of your Mazda
Check the fuses if the front turn signal doesn’t work after you install a new bulb. The fuse for the front turn signal lights is located in the engine compartment fuse box. Check the 10A fuse market as HAZARD. The fuse position is 24.
