Do you have problems with your Porsche?   1. Locate the OBD-II port under the dashboard and plug your VCI adapter in.Porsche Obd Ii Port
  2. Turn the car on, but do not start the engine. If the Porsche has a start/stop button, press it without pressing the brake pedal.Porsche Read Fault Codes
  3. Turn on your scanner and select the “Diagnostic” icon on the home screen.

  4. Select the Porsche model. Depending on the scanner, you will also need to select the module you want to diagnose. For example, you can choose transmission, ABS, and SRS modules.   5. Scroll to Read Fault Codes. Write down all the codes. If codes are in Stored status, go to the next step to clear them. If codes are in Present/Current status, you must fix the problem before clearing those fault codes.Youcanic Scanner Read All Codes Health Check

A generic OBD-II scanner can diagnose a Porsche check engine light, but problems related to the airbag, transmission, ABS, and other systems require a more advanced OBD-II scanner, like the YOUCANIC scanner, which is compatible with most Porsche models made after 1996.
