Hyundai Elantra Front Side Marker Light Bulb Replacement
Learn to change the Front Side Marker Bulb on Hyundai Elantra 2011 through 2016. Replacing the front side marker light bulb is easy but requires removing the headlight assembly.

Procedure
Instructions on how to change the front side marker bulb on Hyundai Elantra 2011-2016.
Turn off the engine. Place the gear shifter in Park. Pull on the hood, release it under the dashboard, and open it.
Remove headlight assembly. The side marker light bulb is at the back of the headlight assembly. Remove the three bolts that hold the assembly in place. You will need two 10 mm bolts and one 12 mm bolt. Once the bolts are removed, you can pull the headlight assembly forward.
Remove the side marker socket. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket counterclockwise. The tabs on the socket align with the slots on the headlight assembly. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling the bulb out.
Install the new side marker light bulb. Install the socket in the assembly by aligning the tabs on the socket with the slots in the assembly. Push the socket into the headlight assembly. Turn the socket clockwise to lock it in place.
Reinstall the light assembly on your Hyundai Elantra. Tighten the three bolts that secure the headlight assembly.
Turn on the light and make sure everything is working properly.
