Procedure

This guide will give instructions to pair your phone with your Audi if your car is equipped with the Multi-Media Interface (MMI).

1. Park your Audi and set the parking brake. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Select TEL on the center console.

If the car will not find your phone

The pairing screen has to be open on both devices at the same time, and the phone has to be showing the Bluetooth settings page rather than just having Bluetooth switched on, because many phones only advertise themselves as discoverable while that screen is visible. If the car still cannot see it, switch Bluetooth off and on again on the phone, and make sure the phone is not already connected to another car or a pair of headphones.

Delete the old pairing before trying again
