Ford P0103 Mass Airflow (MAF) Circuit High Air Flow & Voltage Output

What you will need

Procedure

  1. Unlock the vehicle and go to the driver’s seat.
  2. Connect the OBD II Scanner to the OBD II port below the dashboard.

  4. Go to the diagnostic menu and select read codes on the scannerGoing to the read codes menu on the scanner..

  7. Turn off the ignition switch.
  8. Open the hood.   9. Locate the mass airflow sensor on the driver’s side of the engine compartment near the air filter housing.The mass airflow sensor of the Ford Fusion.
  10. Pull the red tab under the connector of the mass airflow sensor and pull the connector out to disconnect it.Pulling the red tab below the connector using a pick tool.

  11. Remove the two T20 screws on the sensor using a T20 screwdriver.Removing the T20 screws on the mass air flow sensor.

  13. Insert the new mass air flow sensor.Installing the new mass air flow sensor of the Ford Fusion.
  14. Reinstall the two T20 screws on the sensor.
  15. Reconnect the sensor’s electrical connector and push the red tab to lock the connector in.Reconnecting the electrical connector of the Mass Air Flow Sensor.
  16. Turn the ignition switch to the accessories position again.
  17. Go to the erase codes menu and select yes to erase the codes.Selecting the erase codes menu on the scanner.

  18. Go to the read codes and check if there are still codes on the scanner.
