Ford P0103 Mass Airflow (MAF) Circuit High Air Flow & Voltage Output

What you will need
- OBD-II Scanner
- T20 Screwdriver
- Ford Fusion Mass Airflow Sensor
Procedure
- Unlock the vehicle and go to the driver’s seat.
- Connect the OBD II Scanner to the OBD II port below the dashboard.
- Turn the ignition switch to the accessories position.
- Go to the diagnostic menu and select read codes on the scanner
.
- Select stored codes to see the faulty code.
- The scanner will show faulty code P0103 Mass Airflow (MAF) Circuit High Air Flow & High Voltage Output.
- Turn off the ignition switch.

- Locate the mass airflow sensor on the driver’s side of the engine compartment near the air filter housing.
- Pull the red tab under the connector of the mass airflow sensor and pull the connector out to disconnect it.
- Remove the two T20 screws on the sensor using a T20 screwdriver.
- Pull the sensor out.
- Insert the new mass air flow sensor.
- Reinstall the two T20 screws on the sensor.
- Reconnect the sensor’s electrical connector and push the red tab to lock the connector in.
- Turn the ignition switch to the accessories position again.
- Go to the erase codes menu and select yes to erase the codes.
- Go to the read codes and check if there are still codes on the scanner.
Check Engine Light On
