DYNO ABS ESP Off Mode – Secret Menu Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
How can I use my instrument cluster for the secret menu on my Mercedes-Benz? Learn how to access the secret menu on your Mercedes-Benz instrument cluster by following the procedures below. This guide provides instructions on how to enter the secret menu and turn off ABS and traction control on a Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class.
What does Dyno Mode do?
Dyno mode allows you to disable various systems, including ABS, traction control, emergency braking, and stability control. It also lets you check the engine model battery voltage and display the VIN. These systems make handling safer and more predictable, particularly in wet road conditions where you are more likely to lose control.
Procedure
- Push the engine start button once, and turn it with one click if you’re using a key. Do not step on the brake pedal when doing this procedure.
- Go to the trip and miles menu on your cluster. Use the left and right arrows on the left side of your steering wheel to locate the cluster’s trip and miles menu.
- Go to Dyno Test. Press the phone button on the right side of your steering wheel, then press the OK button on the left side of your steering wheel. Hold both buttons pressed for five seconds. Then, use the up and down arrow buttons to go to the dyno test.
- Enable Dyno Test. Press the OK button on the steering wheel to enable the dyno mode. Then start your engine, and the cluster will show EBD, ABS, and traction control is off or unavailable.
