What you will need
- Toyota Camry XV50 Combination Switch
- Flathead Screwdriver
Procedure
Remove the clock spring. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures to remove the clock spring.
Disconnect the electrical connectors of the combination switch by pressing the clip and pulling the connector out.
Pull the tab on the wiper switch using a flat screwdriver.
Remove the wiper switch by pulling it out from the turn signal switch steering column bracket.
Locate the two clips behind the turn signal switch attached to the steering column.
Pull the two clips together using a flat screwdriver to unlock them.
Remove the turn signal switch by pulling it out from the steering column.
Remove the turn signal switch by pulling it out from the steering column.
Line up the new turn signal switch to the steering column and push it to lock it in position.
Place the new wiper switch to the steering column bracket and push it in until it snaps into place.
