2004-2013 BMW 3-Series Add Windshield Washer Fluid

This guide provides instructions on how to add windshield washer fluid on BMW 3-Series E90 E91 E92 E93.

Adding windshield washer fluid on a BMW 3-Series is easy and takes only a few minutes. If your 3-Series washer fluid is low, you will get a warning message on your instrument cluster. Add windshield washer fluid at your earliest convenience.

Procedure

1. Open Hood. Pull the hood release underneath the dashboard of your 3-Series. Open the hood to access the washer fluid reservoir. 
2. Locate Windshield Fluid Reservoir. The washer fluid reservoir on BMW 3-Series has a black cap. The cap has a wiper symbol on top. The reservoir is located on the passenger side near the strut tower. 
3. Open the washer reservoir cap by pushing the cap up.
4. Add washer fluid until the level gets about two inches below the reservoir cap.
