How to Add Windshield Washer Fluid to a Kia
In this guide, you will find a video and instructions that show how to add windshield washer fluid to a Kia vehicle. Make sure to use windshield washer fluid and not water or antifreeze. Never add plain water as a substitute for the windshield washer fluid during winter. Doing so can cause damage to the system.
What you will need
Windshield washer fluid. Do not use plain water.
Procedure

- Open the hood by pulling the hood release under the dashboard.
- Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir in the engine bay, passenger side of the engine.
- Pull up the cap to open it.

- Add windshield washer fluid until the level is two inches below the top of the neck.

That’s it. Adding windshield washer fluid to any Kia vehicle is very simple. Only use windshield washer fluid. Using plain water is not recommended, especially in the winter months. Water can freeze and damage the pump or the nozzle feeding lines.
