Lexus Dead Key Fob Battery Replacement

Learn how to replace the battery on your Lexus key fob. You can change the battery on your remote in less than five minutes.

All you need is a flat screwdriver and a CR1632 3 Volt battery.

Procedure

  1. Use a small flathead screwdriver or the metal key to open the case by inserting it into the side notch and twisting it.
  2. Open the Lexus remote case.
  3. Remove the old battery and install the new one.
  4. Close the battery casing. It simply snaps together, as shown in the video.
