Headlight Assembly Replacement Kia Optima 2016-2020h

What you will need
- Replacement Kia Optima Headlight assembly
- 10mm socket wrench
- 12mm socket wrench
Procedure
- Remove the front bumper. For more help with this step, follow the guide on how to remove the front bumper on Kia Optima.
- Remove the 10mm and 12mm bolts that hold this assembly in place, as shown by the red arrows below.
- Press and pull the clip out of the headlight assembly to remove it and disconnect the electrical connector. Then, fully remove it from the vehicle.
- Install the new assembly.
- Line up the tabs of the new headlight assembly with the vehicle.
- Reinstall the 10mm bolts and 12mm bolts to the new assembly.
- Remove the plastic cover..
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the new headlight assembly by simply pushing it in.
- Make sure everything is working properly by turning the lights on and testing the blinkers.
- Reinstall the front bumper.
