How to replace the Brake light bulb on your Nissan | 2011-2017

How to Replace Nissan Quest Brake Light Bulb
What you will need
- Nissan Quest Brake Light Bulb Type,
- 7443 Miniature Bulb
- (Also known as W21/5W)
- Color: Clear
- 7443 Miniature Bulb
- Mechanic Tool Set Metric
- 10mm socket
- Ratchet wrench
- Screwdriver
Procedure
- Park the Nissan Quest and set the parking brakes. Press the trunk release button to open the trunk.

- Locate the brake light bulb that needs to be replaced on the Nissan Quest. Instructions are the same for both driver and passenger sides.

- Locate two 10 mm bolts to remove. Once the bolts are removed, remove the taillight by pulling it back. If you are having trouble removing the taillight assembly, watch the video below!
First, remove the socket by turning it counterclockwise. Next, remove the bulb from the socket and install the new bulb.

Install the bulb in reverse order. Reinstall the tail light assembly.
