What you will need
- T30 Screwdriver
- Pick tool
- Mercedes-Benz S550 Door control module
Procedure
- Remove the door panel. If you need help with this step, follow this tutorial first.

- Locate the control door module on the right side of the inner door panel.

- Disconnect all the electrical connectors connected to the control door module by pushing the clip and pulling it out.

- Remove the wiring harness from the clips on the door control module.

- Remove the T30 screw on the door control module and slide it to the right to remove it from the inner door panel.

- Get the new door control module, line it up to the inner door panel, and slide it to the left to lock in its place.

- Reinstall the T30 screw on the door control module.

- Connect all the electrical connectors to the new door control module.

- Hook up the wiring harness to the ports of the door control module.

- Reinstall the door panel.
