What you will need
- Toyota Camry Wiper Switch
- Philips Screwdriver
- Flathead Screwdriver
Procedure
Remove the airbag from the steering wheel. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures to remove the airbag.
Remove the steering wheel. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures for removing the steering wheel.
Remove the two screws on the steering column plastic trims using a Philips screwdriver and twisting it counterclockwise.
Pull the upper plastic trim up and the lower plastic trim out of the steering column.
Unlock the tab on the wiper switch using a flat screwdriver to pull the tab.
Disconnect the two electrical connectors of the wiper switch by pressing the clip and pulling the connector out.
Pull the wiper switch out from the vehicle.
Line up the new wiper switch and push it in until it snaps into place.
Reconnect the electrical connectors of the wiper switch by pushing the connector to the connection port.
Line up the plastic trims of the steering column and press them together until they snap into place.
Reinstall the two screws on the plastic trims and twist them clockwise to tighten.
