Procedure

  1. Park the vehicle on a flat-level ground surface.
  2. Jack up the vehicle on the jack points below the front doors or drive the car up on car ramps.Putting the vehicle to car ramps.
  3. Put wheel chocks on the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle from moving.
  4. A secure vehicle with jack stands.
  5. Locate the oil drain plug below the engine and put the oil pan where the oil will flow. Ensure that the oil pan has enough space to carry the oil that will be drained. In this case, 6 quarts.Locating the oil drain plug and putting oil pan below.

  11. Line up the oil filter to the installation port and tighten it with the proper torque specification. Make sure that the gasket and oil filter is lined up correctly.Installing the new oil filter.
