Scanner guide: How to Email a Report on your YOUCANIC Scanner
Did you know you can email a diagnostic report to yourself or a trusted mechanic? If you have important diagnostic information you don’t want to lose, email the report to yourself! This guide will show you how to email a report after a quick scan and email a previously saved report.

NOTE: The scanner used to create this guide was YOUCANIC’s latest model, the UCAN-II-C Pro. These steps will still work if you own an older UCAN-II scanner or a heavy-duty truck scanner.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Connect your VCI to the OBD-II port on your car.

2. Go to Diagnostic, and select your vehicle make from the list. Fill in all necessary information, then select quick scan.

3. Run a scan, then select the Report button.

4. Select Save and Email, enter your email address if you are sending the report to yourself, or enter your mechanic’s email if you are sending the report for diagnostic help. Make sure the “Send report via central server” box is checked.

5. To email a report that you have previously saved, go to Data Manager and select Report.

6. Select the report you want to send, select PDF, then select Email.

7. The format on the following screen is the same as step four above: enter your email if you are emailing the report to yourself, or enter your mechanic’s email if you are sending the report for diagnostic help. Make sure the “Send report via central server” box is checked.
