Procedure

  1. Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel and jack up the vehicle. Support the vehicle with jack stands and remove the wheel.
  2. Locate the wheel speed sensor behind the rotor, remove the 10mm bolt and pull the wheel speed sensor out using a plier.The 10mm bolt holding the wheel speed sensor.
  3. Follow the cable and release the clips holding the cable.Removing the cable from the clips and clamps holding to it.
  4. Remove the push pins on the fender liner and pull the fender liner out to have access to the wheel speed sensor connector.Removing the push pins on the fender liner.
  5. Push on the clip of the connector and pull it out to remove it. Pulling the fender liner to have access to the wheel speed sensor connector.
  6. Install the new wheel speed sensor and install the 10mm bolt on the sensor. Installing the new wheel speed sensor.Reinstalling the 10mm bolt of the wheel speed sensor.
  7. Line up the cable back to the clips and lock the cables in.Installing the cable line of the new wheel speed sensor.
  8. Push the connector into the connection port.Connecting the new wheel speed sensor.
  9. Put the fender liner back in its original position and reinstall the push clips.
