Quick Start Guide
Before you begin, make sure your oscilloscope and scanner are charged. While you can charge your scanner while you work, you cannot charge and operate the oscilloscope simultaneously.

Don’t have a scanner? You can use any Android tablet running Android 7-13. Download the APK here!
- Turn on your scanner or tablet and navigate to the WaveScope app. On the YOUCANIC scanner, select the app titled Oscilloscope. On a tablet, find and select the app titled AVTO.
- Turn your WaveScope on, and connect it to your display device using the USB-A/USB-C to USB-C cable.
- Run Auto Calibration.
- This step must be done every time when you first connect your oscilloscope to your scanner or tablet.
- Press the Auto button at the top of your screen, or use the Self Adjust button in the Main Menu of the oscilloscope software.
- Once calibration is complete, you may begin running tests. The primary test cables you will be using are the Automotive Test Leads. Remove the cap from one of your channels. ans connect the BNc end to the channel, and connect the Red and Black alligator clips or multimeter probes to their respective connections.
Alternatively, your kit comes with two small alligator clip adapters (Shown in the quick start video above) that can be used if the job requires it. - Select your test.
- Click on the car icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Find your test in the pop-up that appears. Refer to the WaveScope 4C Pro User Manual for instructions on performing specific tests.
